Meet our Staff

Rod Dulany (Director of Tennis) – This is Rod’s fifth season as Director of Tennis at the Ocean City Tennis Center. He has achieved the status of Master Professional in the USPTA. Rod served as Director of Tennis at Washington Golf and Country Club for 30 years, which is one of the premier clubs in Northern Virginia. In 1980 he was named National Professional of the Year by the USPTA. He has also been Mid-Atlantic Professional of the Year five times.

Shane Barry (Tennis Manager) – Shane returns for his fourth summer at the Ocean City Tennis Center. Shane is a junior at Salisbury University and is majoring in Finance. He has been a member of the Salisbury University Men's tennis team for two years.  Shane is an alumnus of Worcester Preparatory High School located in Berlin, MD where he was a member of their Men's Tennis team. During his junior and senior year at Worcester Preparatory High School he was voted the Daily Times Tennis Player of the Year.

Dr. Keith Coleman (Head Professional) – Keith is in his third year as the Head Pro at the OC Tennis Center.  He is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional 1 and a member of USRSA.  Keith works winters at the Natick Racquet Club in Natick, MA. He played #1 singles and #1 doubles and was MVP at Campbell University (NC). Keith received a Doctorate in Psychology from Andover Newton Theological School and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. He also teaches psychology at North Shore Community College (MA) and is working toward certification in Sport Psychology.  He grew up in Cambridge, MD and worked there from 1987-2003 at the Bay Country Racquet Club. Keith also worked for several years with Grand Slam winner Don Budge at the Don Budge Tennis Camp in Baltimore, MD.

Marie Thomas (Ladies’ Tennis Coordinator) – Marie returns for the fourth year as the Ladies’ Tennis Coordinator. Marie has played tennis for years and been involved with the sport in a number of organizational capacities. She chaired the tennis program at Green Hill Yacht and Country Club in Salisbury for several years. In addition she was co-chair of the Chris Thomas Memorial Tennis Tournament for twelve years. This was a charity event held at Salisbury University that benefited cancer care programs at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
